NOTE: This is to be used at your OWN discretion. I have done most if not all of these tips/tricks on my 7yr old Desktop Computer with only 1G RAM. BEWARE Registery Cleaning Programs!!! There is a section in here about using it, but I didnt even bother reading it because Registery Files are very sensitive and I have had BAD experiences in the past using Registry Cleaners!!!
I got to go Zakum with Mint today and my lag was very minimal. It's gonna be inevitable that you lag some, because there are so many people in there and there is so much going on Graphic-wise.
Also, make sure to UnCheck the "Shake-Up Screen" option in the MapleStory System Options.

I lagged out in our Aeons Run when Zak used his first 1/1 Att.

| | can archmages use any of their 4th job skills to kill mobs or fight arms/body. CL would be good for both mobs and body. Or does that cause to much lag? |

| Well, it's a lot easier in practice than in theory. Basicly you start on the right side of the map. Someone summons Zak. Wait ten seconds then start to kill. Once the four arms on the right side are dead, either walk through Zak or use the top right warp to get to the left side. Once those arms are dead, start pounding on his body. Don't touch his body, since it hurts alot. When you see Thunder, either use an All Cure or give it a sec for your Priest to heal you. When you see the glowing orb appear, get ready to heal after his 1/1. When you see small totems appear on the floor, avoid them if you can, as they stun (Which can't be cured or dispelled, but you can still pot).
Just repeat this until he dies. Then go wait at the left wall until the looting is over. Those assigned helms will be given helms and those given certain loot (Like T3 or Angel Ray) will get theirs and the rest will go towards the guild fund.

Beside rangers you can also use snipers ^^, they have mostly the same attacks.
